Resolved Question: my computer keeps crashing when I do anything intensive.?

at first it was just a nuisance but it quickly became a large annoyance for gaming. here's my Specs - Intel I7 960 @ 2.67GHz Processor - Asus P6TD Deluxe Motherboard - Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 Video Card - I'm not sure but I THINK I have a 850W PSU - Windows 7 Home Premium (I also run Gentoo, but not for anything near as intensive Here's what I run when I game - Steam - Winamp - Virtual Audio Cable - Chrome - Hamachi Networking Here's some info on the crashing: when it crashes, it stops playing music/sounds and freezes up at one frame. it only happens when I'm doing something intensive like "Shattered Horizon", "Garry's Mod", or "L4D" I can get just about any information you might need about my computer upon request. forgot to include that it doesn't get hot it even warm when it crashes....
